HIP HOP TRANSFUZION BIOGRAPHIES
Ani "Hot Stuff" Brugioni has been dancing hip-hop for seven years. She has performed with the Elm Middle School Poms Team and as an EPHS Cheerleader. She has been doing annual dance school recitals since the age of three, for a total of eleven years of dancing and recitals. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was choreographing group numbers for performances since the age of ten. Outside of dance, Ani enjoys singing. She has been in her grade school choir since the third grade and has also been in the Madrigals of Grace Church choir for three years.
Brittany "Brit-Brit" Negron has been dancing hip hop for six years. She has studied dance at TDS as well as Turning Point Dance Studio. Some of her most memorable accomplishments consist of master breakdancing tricks as well as perfecting her aireal . Brittany also has a passion for playing volleyball. In her future she plans to finish high school, go to college, and eventually become a doctor.
Dana "DJ Star" Schwartz has been hip hop dancing for six years. She has performed with the Academy of Movement and the Danza Viva companies for dance. She has also been involved in musicals including Swan Lake, Fiddler on the Roof, Aida, Singing In The Rain, and Peter Pan. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was when she performed as the lead dancer in Swan Lake. Her interests outside of dance are theatre, guitar, soccer, and volleyball. One day she plans to graduate from OPRF and begin classes at Lou Conti.
Danielle "Dani" Bidigare is a first-year hip hop dancer. However, she has performed various styles of dance with Bravo Performing Arts Academy and Panda Dance Studio. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was recieving a platinum at her dance competition. She has performed in Music Man, Flat Stanley, Grease, Snow Angel, and Seussical. In the future, she will continue to strive to be academically successful as well as possibly pursue a side career in dance.
Hannah "Badbar" Goodbar has been a hip hop dancer for three years. She has performed with H2B's, Bravo, and "Rock Around the Block". Some of her most memorable dance-related moments include her past performances. Outside of dance, she is also interested in academics and lacrosse. In her future, she plans to continue dancing, and go to college.
Jessica "Jess-chu" McClain has been dancing hip-hop, ballet, jazz, and lyrical for just over twelve years, as well as tap for nearly ten years. She has performed with The Joffery Ballet, Hip Hop Transfuzion, Transrhythm Tap, Jazz Transaxion, and serves a captain and a member of Guerin Prep’s Dance Team. She has performed in the Joffery Ballet’s Nutcracker, Legre Dance Center’s Nutcracker, and all TDS performances. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was getting into The Joffery Ballet at such a young age. Outside of dance, Jessica enjoys her role as Editor in Chief of her school newspaper, Animal Rights Activism, National Honors Society, and Nolan Scholars. For her future plans consist of studying dance and journalism at Columbia College Chicago. She wishes to major in dance, teach, and open up her own dance studio one day to inspire young dancers.
Sebastian Rodriguez, 14, is very passionate about dance. A dance-related memory that sticks strong in his mind was when he performed smoothly to a song in his 5th grade talent show. The crowd of that performance made him feel like a celebrity. Dance follows him everywhere; when he is out and about he feels the beat and dances to the sounds he hears. His future plans include doing outstandingly academically, getting into a good college, and then one day become either a choreographer or backup dancer.
Trinity Dent has been doing hip hop for five years. Other performance companies that she has been a member of include the Ballet Legere, Mullane/Heary/Godley Irish Dance Academy, and the St. Joseph High School Varsity dance team. She has performed in productions including "Annie" and "The Nutcracker". Her most memorable accomplishments have been playing Clara in "The Nutcracker" and medaling at the Irish Dance World Championships. Other interests of hers include softball and water skiing. She is unsure of exactly what to do with her future, but she is positive that she will keep dancing and possibly continue playing sports while working at a medicine degree in college.
HIP HOP TRANSFUZION 2 BIOGRAPHIES
Casey "Shawty" Groulx is a young hip hop talent who has been involved in the style of hip hop for a year and a half. She has also been a part of Cast and VPT dance. She has performed in productions such as Annie, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, and So You Think You Can Dance. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was when she learned how to do a cheek stand. Outside of dance, her interests include computers and reading. She plans to continue dancing until, and possibly throughout college.
Christyn "Precious" Robinson has been dancing hip hop for one year. Other companies she has performed with include Unlimited Phrase and Daughters of St. Luke. Another production she has been in was the 70s Gospel Explosion. The most memorable thing she has done in her dance career so far was a tribute to Michael Jackson. She has also won first place in the Pilgrim Baptist talent show. Her other interest is singing. In her future she hopes to one day become a Disney star.
Eddie "Big-E" Yousif has been dancing hip hop for three years now. He has been a part of a Transendance recital and seven Legere Dance Center recitals. His most memorable dance accomplishment was making it into HHTF2. Outside of dance, he enjoys playing baseball, football, soccer, and lacrosse. His plans for the future include attending Percy Julian school and trying out for HHTF..
Ellie "Electric" Yousif has been doing tap for seven years and hip hop for two years. She has performed with TranscenDance Studios for one year so far, and also with Legere for seven years. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was when she auditioned and made the HHTF2 and TRT2 companies. Her other interest is soccer. Someday she plans to complete high school and college and receive a law degree.
Erika "Air-ka" Balce, 12, is a very varied source of talent who has been dancing since she was eighteen months old. Her favored dance styles are jazz, ballet, and especially hip hop. She has danced at TranscenDance Studios as well as the Turning Point Dance Studio. Her most memorable dance accomplishments include performances, dance recitals, and talent shows. She has been dancing in the style of hip hop for 4-5 years. Her other interests include volleyball, reading, modeling, acting, academics, student council, girl scouts, alter serving, volunteering, and computer tech. Her aspirations for her future are to become a lawyer and a doctor. As of right now, she works for the "Babes and Beau" modeling/acting commercial agency. In regards of dance, she wants to one day become Justin Bieber's backup dancer.
Sarah "Monkey" Parton is a 9-year-old who has been in dance for six years including tap, ballet and jazz. This is her first year in hip hop with Hip Hop Tranzfusion 2! She has also danced with the Wendy City Dancers at Panda studios for the past four years. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was when she won 1st place overall at the Rainbow Connection Regional Dance Competition. She is also involved in gymnastics, piano, violin, acting, and modeling. In regards to her acting talent, she has performed in Macbeth, Once on This Island and Pots & Pans at Dominican University. She performed in the 2010 children's cast of the Joffrey Nutcracker at the Auditorium Theater. She has been a model with Ford Models for over eight years posing for such companies as American Girl, Land's End, Sears, Von Maur, and One Step Ahead.
Sara "Starr" Stoll, 17, is new to Hip Hop TransFuzion 2 this year. She has no prior hip hop experience, but has three years of belly dancing experience at Jasmin Jahal studio. Her most memorable dance accomplishment was recently becoming a member of Hip Hop TransFuzion 2. Her interests outside of dance include piano, guitar, clarinet, drums, jazz band, marching band, concert band, comedy, cooking, art, academics, and oddities. Her plans for the future are to attend a college in Chicago for music education to become a secondary level music teacher. She wants to include dance in her life, so she plans to continue to perform with companies in the Chicago-land area.
